Greetings, Fearless Fighters and Krav Maga Enthusiasts,
As 2023 throws its last kicks and punches, it’s time for a quick recap of the year that had more twists and turns than a Krav Maga self-defence technique. SMART Krav Maga Brussels proudly declares that we’ve not only survived but thrived! Take that, COVID-19 – your two-year attempt at putting us in a chokehold failed miserably!
Our reopening was an achievement made possible by the strong unity and support of the SMART community. Ninety-seven brave souls stepped onto the mat for a trial class just in January, and while we did lose a few along the way (they missed out on the fun!), fifty-four warriors stayed put. Some for a month, some for longer, and the crème de la crème still KIDA with us every Tuesday and Thursday. A heartfelt shout-out to all of you for being the awesome members who have made our comeback truly remarkable!
And talking about awesome members, let’s give a round of applause, cheers, and maybe a few high-fives to our students who faced the ultimate judgment day on November 26th. These champions displayed both physical and mental toughness, passing their level tests with flying colours. Congratulations on levelling up! Keep up the good work because the only way from here is up – literally, up the grades!
For those who opted out this time, fear not! Another chance will come. Grab a curriculum, keep training, and keep getting better!
With only two training sessions left this year, it’s clear that time flies when you’re having a blast. We’ll bid adieu to everyone for 2023 on December 21st, but take it easy with eggnog and sweets – we’re back on January 9th. Oh, and there will be a birthday in the house, so get ready for some burpees!
Looking ahead to 2024, please take note of these important dates, as regular classes will not be held during these times.
